Winemaker's Notes:

Peters Vineyard is located on the western edge of RussianRiverValley and because of its cool setting is ideal for growing some of the best Burgundian varietals in California.   The 2007 Peters Chardonnay is a beautiful balance of tart apple and ripe melon, with hints of lemon custard, honey and brioche. The wine is ample on the palate,  and has a lingering finish. A fantastic wine to pair with flash seared ahi tuna encrusted with toasted hazelnuts and lightly topped with a ginger soy reduction.   For simpler fare, go with lobster!
