Join us on the enchanted isle of Amphora for an island inspired luau feast prepared by Chef Martin Courtman.
While you are enjoying your dinner and wine, relax to the soothing sounds ofKani 'Olu.
Kani 'Olu performs traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music as well as other cover songs done in the Hawaiian style. The band consists of Wayne Creekmore (bass), Na Maka Harris (vocals and tenor ukulele), and Matt Harris (percussion).
Traditional songs are performed in the Hawaiian language. Na Maka will be happy to share with you the translation and meaning of the songs….just ask! Other songs are hapa haole, performed in English. Both are performed in the nahenahe (NA HEY NA HEY) style common to musical gatherings of family and friends in Hawaii. The nahenahe style is melodic, soothing, and soft—reminiscent of a calmer, less hectic era.
After dinner, Rick's band, Old on Meds, will be performing for your entertainment pleasure.
