The pride of Dry Creek Valley

For around 130 years Zinfandel has been the main varietal of this appellation, and there is a strong belief among winemakers that this little valley is the best place ANYWHERE for this grape. The combination of soil, climate, and the collective wisdom of local growers all contribute to the magic. Zinfandel is one of Rick's "original" wines from that first Amphora vintage of 1997, and it continues to be a mainstay of the winery. Rick says" If you're in Dry Creek Valley, you'd better be making great Zin!
